John answers:

I imagine you’d get successes as well as failures, just as in any endeavor. The attached source provides some good independent information in this regard. I personally don’t invest/trade forex (yet) because I have a full time job/family while managing $Ms in funds and $Ks in options.

Try to always look for the competition rank, offer competitive prices against the ones that are selling the same clothes, offer deals, combined shipping and be able to attract more customers with these types of things.

Maria asks…

What do you like in stories?

What do you like in stories? Have you or do you plan on writing one? If so share it, I would love to read about it.
Do you prefer fictional? (Sci-Fi, etc)
First person, third person, etc?
And do you like stories that let the imagination wonder, or that you can better relate to real life?

Mine is a first person story, fiction that (best I can describe) lets the readers mind wonder into a made up world.

In a nutshell it is the story of a world that has just recovered from something called the ‘Thousand Year War’ (which lasted roughly 800 years lol) That was between the supreme techies of the Arcadia province called ‘The Lazarus Family” (I love that name, I’m trying to get it trade marked) the Angelic Karnolecs of the province of Karnola, and the hundreds of hesitant provinces scattered across the globe.

The story takes place after the history of this war has nearly been forgotten. The Lazarus Family (bad guys) has been long forgotten and little trace is left of the Karnolecs. That is until the protagonists home province of Vetson (this is 800 years later) has been seeing sightings of these large air ships the size of buildings in the sky. Eventually the province is attacked in a one sided battle by the Lazarus Armada (who has found a way to travel back into the provinces) The main character is forced to travel to the other provinces he didn’t even know existed to find a way to fight off this new found foreign enemy.

I’m calling it ‘The Gates to the Provinces”
I was always afraid this story would be too ‘out there’ for people to follow, but a lot of stories and media has been that way and still came out successful.

John answers:

Well, I use to love writing about werewolves and vampires but with such a fuss being kicked up about it all its not always the best option to take.

I don’t know if you’ve ever watched Resident Evil but you should. I watched it when I was younger but never fully apprciated it until recently! It gave me a few trillion ideas. Aliens. Zombies. Demons. Invasions. Hundreds of different ideas. Its a brilliant movie to watch. Well – there’s actually five movies out.

~ Resident Evil
~ Resident Evil: Apocolypse
~ Resident Evil: Extinction
~ Resident Evil: Degeneration
~ Resident Evil: Afterlife

And a fifth is now on its way out!

Also, Degeneration is a cartoon but I suggest you watch them in that order, mm’kay? (:

So I sometimes just write. I’m a bit impulsive and don’t always plan it out. But when I DO plan it out, I plan it out in chapters. Firstly I’ll say like;

~ Chapter one; Introduces you to character, tells you about her/him, their life, something interesting happens.

And after I’ve gone through exactly what I want to happen I then begin to redo it in more details.

~ Chapter one; Regan is a princess of Egypt. Not just any princess though, she is a sacrifical princess…

Then again I redo it in more detail. And if I come to a wall and can’t think of anything to write for the next chapter? I either skip it and go onto the next one or I start writing.

I know thats a crappy example but yeah, I would love to come up with an excuse but to be honest, I just can’t be bothered.

Your story sounds interesting…

If you feel like it, email the first chapter to me???

And if you want to read any of my stories (I have about three hundred unfinished hahaha) then just tell me what kind of stuff you like and I’m sure I’ve written something like it and I can email it to you!

Steven asks…

Was Senator Inhofe’s “one man truth squad” successful at Copenhagen?

“The ranking Republican on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee hoped to spread two messages in Copenhagen: Global warming is a hoax, and there’s no way the Senate is going to pass a cap-and-trade bill.”

“The senator didn’t have any meetings scheduled in Copenhagen, and he did not see chief U.S. negotiator Todd Stern…But Inhofe’s aides eventually rustled up a group of reporters”

“A reporter asked: “If there’s a hoax, then who’s putting on this hoax, and what’s the motive?”

“It started in the United Nations,” Inhofe said, “and the ones in the United States who really grab ahold of this is the Hollywood elite.”

One reporter asked Inhofe if he was referring to California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Another reporter — this one from Der Spiegel — told the senator: “You’re ridiculous.”

Inhofe ignored the jab, fielded a few more questions, then raced to the airport for the nine-hour flight back to Washington.”

Personally I don’t appreciate my tax dollars being wasted so that some blowhard senator could fly to Copenhagen, embarrass himself and his country by claiming global warming is a hoax perpetrated by “the Hollywood elite”, get mocked by reporters, and then fly back home in disgrace.

Is that what Inhofe was trying to achieve with his self-proclaimed “one man truth squad”? Was he successful?

John answers:

No, he was Exposed as a Fraud WRT Global Warming, a Vid:
