Joseph asks…

Opinions on Kaizen kettlebells?

Has anyone used or bought them? If so how are they? Good quality? I ask because they look great and are way more cheaper than kettlebells from elsewhere but I am wondering just what the quality is because of the price. Thanks

John answers:

This has nothing to do with martial arts

John answers:

Quality is good. You can always contact the company and ask about the quality.

Besides, if you do not like it, you can always return it. Ask about the return policy.

Can someone translate this message from a Japanese Pen-Friend?

After trying one pen-friend already

3. shousan – praise

4. kaizen suru – improve

5. seikatsu suru – live

6. anime – cartoon animation

7. otaku – giiku

8. nakayosi – maki

9. fukushin – maki

John answers:

Some of it doesn’t make sense. Did you transcribe this? Rough translation:

“Good evening. My name is Maki.

I’m a supreme otaku. I read your profile. Oklahoma, I’m about to graduate. I’m 19 years old. You’re getting highlights in your hair. I don’t believe it! Black hair with highlights. But, it’s short. (I think the next sentence is supposed to be a question – ‘Do you work in a store?’) For a job, I would like to be a model. Anime, is why I’m alive. I live to watch anime. [doesn’t make sense] name, or I will punish you. Pan! Now, a Japanese lesson.”

‘nakayoshi’ and ‘fukushin’ are both words for ‘close friend’.
