Your Questions About Kaizen

Steven asks…

With Kaizen and Just in time??

Does a business choose 1, or can a business operate both of them?

John answers:

I have my business test on the 22nd of this month!

Kaizen: checking products are 97% good quality or more
Just in time: Ordering resources just before they are needed.

The businesses could operate both.
Kaizen is a form of quality control: checking the products are good enough to sell.

Just in time: ordering something just before it is needed (eg ordering medicine in a vets just before the last of it runs out… Problems may be that delivery could fail and so animals would become more ill/die)

Hope I helped, Good Luck in the exam (if you have one)

xx
