Your Questions About How To Pick Stocks

Sandy asks…

What do a Stock employee do at Target?

Target called me a while ago and told me that their Starbucks and Cart arranger is not available, but they have Stock, Overnight, Cafe and Electronics. I picked the Stock because I thought it would be the one who will be on the store, restocking products on the shelves.

Please do tell me what does a Stock employee do. Thank you so much!

John answers:

I couldn’t find an official Target job description for that position, but I imagine that this would come close. Http://www.careerdepot.org/Descriptions/job_stock_clerk.htm

Steven asks…

What are some of the tactics you use when picking a stock using technical indicators?

What signals do YOU look for before you buy a stock?
And if you find one you like, how do you decide what price you will bid for the stock….. (such as today’s low, close, high, 2% lower than today, etc)?

John answers:

I use the Fast Stochastic, as well as the RSI, along with the MACD.
